The Financial Services Council (FSC) welcomes Deputy Prime Minister Hon Grant Robertson, Leader of the Opposition Chris Luxon, and Deputy Leader of the New Zealand National Party Nicola Willis as speakers at the 2023 FSC Conference.

The FSC’s Building Consumer Confidence Conference is the flagship event for the financial services sector and is taking place from the 15-17 August 2023 at The Cordis Hotel, Auckland.

The full Conference programme launches today (11 May 2023), alongside the announcement of the first political keynote speakers who will make in-person addresses directly to attendees.

“Our Conference draws in experts and leaders from political, economic, regulatory, scientific and tech spheres and brings them together for the purpose of growing the financial confidence and wellbeing of New Zealanders”, says FSC CEO Richard Klipin.

“This year, with the cost of living crisis and recession looming, improving the financial confidence of everyday New Zealanders is a major priority.

‘We have also curated sessions specifically for life and health insurance, KiwiSaver, investment, and professional advice sectors to ensure we deliver high-level, targeted insights that attendees are able to take back to their organisations in order to build the confidence of their customers,” Klipin adds.

‘With the Conference taking place two months before Election 2023, we are also keenly interested to hear what are on the cards for the financial services industry for the next few years.”

Early bird pricing for the Building Consumer Confidence Conference ends on 23 May 2023.
