FSC at industry ESG event

Our Head of Regulatory Affairs Carissa Perano spoke at an ESG industry event.

Carissa spoke at 'The Future of Investing: CRD - too far or not far enough?', an annual industry event hosted by Kernel, S&P Dow Jones Indices and MinterEllisonWatts on 31 May 2023.

The evening session touched on insights from global and domestic thought leaders on aspects of climate investing in relation to the Paris Accord, as well as delving into the CRD regulations and the implications for businesses in terms of reporting and transparency.

Carissa joined a panel that discussed:

• how CRD requirements are impacting the industry
• how businesses are interpreting implementing and reporting on ESG and climate factors,
•  the challenges they face with this approach to regulation.
