The purpose of the FSC Health Committee is to act as an influential voice shaping the role and direction of New Zealand’s private health system and is a key group following the merger of HFANZ into the FSC in December 2020.

The Committee, co-chaired by Lance Walker and Len Elikhis, is responsible for developing and advancing the FSC’s position on health policy, facilitating industry collaboration to improve the standing and sustainability of the industry, and executing strategic projects that deliver benefit to the health insurance industry and its customers.

The Health Committee has four working groups who are currently developing their respective workplans.
