Hon. Nicola Willis, Hon. David Seymour, Hon. Barbara Edmonds and Hon. Andrew Bayly to speak at FSC24 Conference

With just over a month to go and tickets selling fast, the Financial Services Council (FSC) Conference 2024 has a stellar line up, including leading politicians and regulators. 

Attendees can look forward to hearing from Minister of Finance Hon. Nicola Willis, Minister for Regulation Hon, David Seymour, Labour Spokesperson for Finance Hon. Barbara Edmonds and Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs Hon. Andrew Bayly. 

The Conference takes place from 3 – 5 September and gathers the New Zealand financial services sector and beyond to focus on the theme ‘Consumer Prosperity and Resilience’, and how the industry can support New Zealanders to improve their financial wellbeing during different stages of the economic market.

Keynote addresses from the Ministers are at the following times:

  • Hon. Nicola Willis, Minister of Finance: Keynote + fireside chat with Jack Tame, 9.00am – 9.30am, Wednesday 4 September
  • Hon. David Seymour, Minister for Regulation: Keynote, 4.35pm – 5.00pm, Wednesday 4 September
  • Hon. Barbara Edmonds, Labour Spokesperson for Finance: Keynote + fireside chat with Madison Reidy, 9.00am – 9.30am, Thursday 5 September
  • Hon. Andrew Bayly, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Keynote at Awards Dinner 7.40pm-7.50pm, Wednesday 4 September

  • Samantha Barrass, Chief Executive, Financial Markets Authority: Keynote address + fireside chat with Jack Tame, 11.00am-11.30am, Wednesday 4 September  
  • Christian Hawkesby, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand: Keynote address + fireside chat with Madison Reidy, 11.20am-11.50am, Thursday 5 September
