Hon Grant Robertson and Christopher Luxon lead lineup of political speakers at FSC conference

The Financial Services Council (FSC) of New Zealand is delighted to hear from a number of political and regulatory leaders at the upcoming FSC Conference.

The Conference runs from 15th-17th August and will welcome over 600 attendees from across the financial services sector. The theme ‘Building Consumer Confidence’ focuses on how the financial services industry can support those who need it most.

Political highlights will include: 

  •  Hon Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance: Keynote + fireside chat with Jack Tame 9.00am-9.30am Wed 16th August
  • Christopher Luxon, Leader of the New Zealand National Party: Keynote address at Conference Opening Drinks 5.30pm-5.40pm Tues 15th August
  • Hon Dr. Duncan Webb, Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Keynote at Awards Dinner 7.30pm-7.40pm Wed 16th August 
  • Andrew Bayly, National Party spokesperson for Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Keynote address + fireside chat with Rachel Smalley 9.00am-9.30am Thurs 17th August
  • Damien Smith, MP for the New Zealand ACT Party: Election Pundits Panel 11.50am - 12.45pm Thurs 17th August
  • Simon Bridges, former Leader of the New Zealand National Party: Election Pundits Panel 11.50am - 12.45pm Thurs 17th August
  • Kris Faafoi, former Minister of Commerce and Consumer Affairs: Election Pundits Panel 11.50am - 12.45pm Thurs 17th August

Regulatory highlights will include: 

  • Clare Bolingford, Executive Director, Regulatory Delivery, Financial Markets Authority: Keynote address + fireside chat with Jack Tame 11.10am-11.40pm Wed 16th August
  • Christian Hawkesby, Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of New Zealand: Keynote address + fireside chat with Rachel Smalley, 11.20am-11.50am Thurs 17th August

As the flagship event for the financial services sector, the FSC Conference draws in leaders and experts from all spheres, and attendees can expect to mix and mingle with industry leaders, academics, young trailblazers, founders, chief economists, and many more over the three day programme.
