KiwiSaver Industry Spotlight June 2023

The FSC gather industry data on KiwiSaver, Health and Life Insurance and publish quarterly spotlights for each sector. The June 2023 KiwiSaver spotlight reveals that:

• funds under management covered by the FSC statistics continue to increase, up 15.26% from 30 June 2022;
• FSC statistics now represent 91% of the total market funds under management, up from 89% at 31 March 2023;
• the number of KiwiSaver members managed by KiwiSaver schemes that contribute to the FSC statistics also continues to increase, up 1.74% over the 12 months to 2.97 million New Zealanders;
• all contributions have increased over the preceding 12 months.
