FSC supports Sorted Money Week

Written by The FSC team | August 11, 2022

The Financial Services Council is supporting Te Ara Ahunga Ora Retirement Commission's Sorted Money Week again in 2022.

As part of our strategic vision to grow the financial confidence and wellbeing of New Zealanders, we have been using our Money and You consumer platform this week to support Sorted Money Week, with a series of blogs and videos.

#JustWondering video series

With the help of Devon Funds Management, Women in Super NZ and YWCA Aotearoa, we filmed a series of six short video clips answering several of the questions in our conversation starter card set. Watch the videos below!

Q: What does money mean to you?

Q: What are you trying to do differently with money this year?

Q: How do you protect the things you value?

Q: How do you handle financial emergencies?

Q: Have you ever hidden a purchase?

Q: Do you think it's easier for men to negotiate a pay rise?

Q&A with Vic Harris and Esther Zhuang

We also interviewed some of our friends and the FSC team using questions from the conversation starter cards to learn more about their money stories. Read the interviews by clicking on the images below.

Join in on the Sorted Money Week action using our conversation starter cards - there are versions for families and a te reo Māori translation as well.
