David is a partner in Dentons Kensington Swan’s Financial Markets Team, and has been advising superannuation scheme trustees and administrators for over 30 years. A former chair of Workplace Savings NZ and the Financial Advisers Code Committee, David now leads the FSC Workplace Savings Committee Training Focus Group.

Komal Jalan
Principal, Sustainable Investment, Mercer Investment Management Pacific

Komal Jalan is a Principal in Mercer’s Investments business, based in Sydney. Komal leads Mercer Fund’s sustainable investment function for the Pacific region. This includes sustainable investment strategy, design and implementation across asset classes, including Mercer’s sustainability labelled funds. Komal is a member of Mercer’s Investment Management Leadership Team and Global ESG Integration Committee. Komal also represents Mercer on a number of industry collaborative initiatives such as the Investor Group on Climate Change. Komal is an independent member of Responsible Investment Association of Australasia’s (RIAA) Certification Assessment Panel.
