KiwiSaver and Retirement at the FSC24 Conference

In the KiwiSaver and Retirement stream at the FSC24 Conference, sector leaders will delve into KiwiSaver reform, explore the future of Government pensions in NZ, and debate solutions to address the insufficient retirement savings among New Zealanders.

With recognised need to increase KiwiSaver contributions and with only the majority matching their employers 3% investment, the debate will focus on what will drive increased contributions and significant growth in KiwiSaver to provide a dignified retirement.

With over 65s set to double in the next 30 years, the panel will look at New Zealand's current and future demographics, noting that while lifespans are increasing, health is not necessarily improving. They will also discuss the role of NZ Super, anticipated changes and what products would be available to support New Zealander's retirement in addition to KiwiSaver and more.
