Join us to explore how we can expand access and create pathways to economic independence for women with Joanie Bily, CEO for Dress for Success Worldwide, Robyn Moore, CEO of Dress for Success Auckland and David McLean, former CEO of Westpac and the Chair of the FSC on Thursday 28 May.



Dress for Success NZ are delighted to bring this inspiring panel event bringing thought leadership on women in the workplace hosted by Dress for Success Auckland at Fable Auckland.

Women’s career paths are complex, and access to opportunity can determine whether they move forward or remain on the sidelines of economic mobility.

Join in for insightful discussions into how we can continue creating pathways to empower women to thrive in work and life, the evolving needs and gaps facing women across the world's workforce.

Lisa Mulligan (Facilitator)
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, The Culture Ministry

Lisa is the founder and CEO of The Culture Ministry, offering pragmatic and experienced Diversity & Inclusion consultancy. She works with CEO's and Leadership teams to build financially successful and inclusive businesses. Lisa brings over 25 years’ experience in human resources, organisational change and development, and diversity & inclusion, in global businesses.

She has lived and worked across Australia, New Zealand, Asia and Europe with organisations in the retail, distribution, insurance, FMCG, logistics, manufacturing, pharmaceutical and engineering consulting, with over 15 years focusing on Asia.
With a strong background in data led DEI work Lisa understands the importance of using data to influence leaders, create change and secure investment.

Joanie Bily
Chief Executive Officer, Dress for Success Worldwide

Joanie has been the CEO and strategic advisor of Dress For Success Worldwide since 2025, and has led the organization’s worldwide operations, global network, and strategic initiatives as the organisation advances toward its North Star goal of supporting two million women globally. A respected authority on workforce strategy, Joanie’s expertise has been featured on Fox Business, CNBC, CNN, MSNBC, and PBS, and in publications including The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, Newsweek, and U.S. News & World Report.

She is author of Dive in D.E.E.P.: Strategies to Advance Your Career, Find Balance, and Live Your Best Life (2023), and a contributing author to Together We Rise and the forthcoming Rising with Courage, collections highlighting stories and insights from women leaders. Joanie is an internationally recognised expert in workforce strategy and labour market trends and brings decades of executive leadership and a global perspective to advancing women’s economic independence through the power of work.

Robyn Moore
Chief Executive Officer, Dress for Success Auckland

With a career spanning leadership, marketing, and strategy, Robyn brings a purpose-driven approach to her work. Known for turning vision into action, combines commercial acumen with a deep commitment to social impact. A passionate advocate for gender equality, Robyn champions women’s economic independence and works to expand pathways for women to lead and thrive.

Robyn prioritises dignity and growth, ensuring each client feels supported in a client led setting—with clothing, career and confidence building workshops, one on one coaching and mentoring programmes. 

David McLean
Independent Chair, Financial Services Council NZ

David is the Chair of the New Zealand Memorial Museum Trust, which has established Te Arawhata, the NZ Memorial Museum in Le Quesnoy, France.  

His other roles include Chair of Kiwi Group Capital, Weel Holdings Pty, and a member of the Council of Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. David retired after seven years as CEO of Westpac NZ in June 2021 having had a career as a lawyer and banker, and is a former chair of KiwiRail, the NZ Bankers Association, Champions for Change, and a former chair, and Distinguished Fellow, of INFINZ.
