Ahead of the 2026 General Election, the Financial Services Council has worked with members from across KiwiSaver and investment, life insurance and health insurance to develop a shared agenda for the future of financial services.
The result is our FSC 2026 Election Manifesto.
For the first time, the manifesto brings together the sector's priorities into one connected set of recommendations for the next Government. Rather than focusing on individual parts of the financial services landscape, it recognises that better outcomes for New Zealanders come from policies that support a stronger, more connected financial system.
Our sector plays a critical role in helping New Zealanders build wealth, protect what matters and improve their financial resilience. The manifesto sets out practical recommendations that will help create the conditions for people to thrive at every stage of life.
Join us for the official launch of the FSC 2026 Election Manifesto and be among the first to hear the recommendations, the thinking behind them, and how we'll be taking them to political parties in the lead-up to the General Election.
